Installed qubes OS (Qubes-R4.0-rc1-x86_64 - rufus)





Installing quebes OS is not that easy on my Latitude E6410

First you have to do some modification on the BIOS side (F12 Boot Option):

Settings
General - Boot Sequence have to be Legacy
Performance - Multicore Support:  (All)
Performance - Intel Hyperthreading Technologie : off
Performance - Intel Speed Step: off
Performance - Intel TurboBoost: off
Virtualisation Support - Virtualisation: off
Virtualisation Support - Enable VT for Direct i/o
Virtualisation Support - Trusted Execution
Wireless - Wireless Switch: off all

Wireless - Wireless device enable: off all


reboot and F12 install from USB Stick

- Install the qubes iso file with rufus on a USB Stick
- Reboot and finish the setup

- Reboot and start Qubes
- Reboot and change the BIOS Settings important would be the virtualisation Support


 update $ sudo qubes-dom0-update     software update
Kali     Kali Linux katoline
Win7    

MS Win7 ISO
Qubes & Win7
